Props List

Props List

Below is a list of all of the props that we used throughout our film trailer. They were used to create a more realistic environment and to create an overall more professional trailer. We had some props that we decided not to use within our trailer that will be describe below as well.

Knife
This is a small rubber knife that we used within some of the old man scenes of our trailer. Upon completing our filming we decided that the scenes in which this prop was used did not fit in with the rest of the trailer and because of this is not feature within out film.

Fake Blood
This is a small tube of fake blood that we decided would be good to use within out trailer. Upon using it we decided that it was a slight bit too think so we diluted some in water and used that instead. This is featured in the scene where the log is covered in blood and is a pivotal convention within horror films as blood is a sign of danger and also death.

Bags
These are just some generic rucksacks and messenger bags that the teenagers are seen carrying into the woods upon arrival. This shows that they are here to stay as they have brought some belonging with them, but the main use of the bags was to make the film seem more realistic as people would not go for a weekend away without some sort of bag to transport belongings in.

Fire
We would have liked to use fire within out production to create a more authentic camping atmosphere but the owner of the land did not permit us to light any fires on the land. We adhered to the land owners requests and as such did not use fire within our production, along with the multiple risks involved with fires that also played a role in this decision.

Sleeping Bags
We had planned for the friends to have set up camp using their bags and sleeping bags that they had brought, but due to some unforeseen weather the night before we decided that the ground was too waterlogged for sleeping bags and sitting on the ground without the risk of dirtying somebodies belongings.
